Sunday, 9/8: Just call me a swinger. A Smoothie-sippin' swinger. Susan the Smoothie-sippin' swinger. Susan sips Smoothies on swings on a Sunday in September. Yeah, that's joy, enjoying a Smoothie King 20 oz. Light and Fluffy, while visiting a local park and swinging on the swings. :) Swinging always makes me smile. Susan's smiling sippin' Smoothies on swings on a Sunday in September. Super! Monday, 9/9: Today's joy left me with a belly ache. I considered it a treat to drink a cold glass of (1% milkfat) chocolate milk. I drank it sitting on my new couch (it's just a few weeks old, really). I just sat there and drank--no TV, no music, and definitely no computer. It was peaceful while it lasted. Tuesday, 9/10: Besides the big bowl of frozen yogurt I just ate, I think the thing I did today that gave me the most joy was telling Joe that I love him. He's working tonight, and he's working a 12-hour shift tomorrow. He insists nothing is going to happen on the year anniversary the World Trade Center crumbled. But just in case, I needed to tell him that I love him, because I do, and I also told him I thought it was important that I said as much. Wednesday, 9/11: No joy today. But another entry, instead. Thursday, 9/12: I've been crazy busy, and yet I convinced myself to partake in a moment of peace, lying on my couch with a bowl of frozen yogurt. No TV. No computer. No phone. No radio. Just peacefulness, and Daisycat. Friday: 9/13: Nothing could have been more joyful toay than seeing my Dustydog for the first time in two months! It was so much fun to play with her and walk her around the block and just let her be happy to see me, as I was to see her. Saturday: 9/14: Yes, I find joy in food. It's amazing I'm not 300 pounds. Today's joy was real New York pizza and real New York cheesecake. Not in the same sitting though. 9/1-9/7 | 9/8-9/14 | 9/15-9/21 | 9/22-9/30
