| Get Notified Of Future Updates | Tuesday, March 25, 2003 This is part of Random Acts of Journaling. Use this phrase in a poem of your own: soft and sweet as memory The music played low It's time to move on Turn up the volume Celebrate the day. I almost want to say "Amen" at the end of that. I'm not sure what I'd do without music. There's some song for every mood of mine--and believeth me, there are a lot of 'em! Sometimes a song can send me back in time and leave me nostalgic for the past. That there was a past I can remember so fondly is truly a blessing. Switching from nostalgia to the present requires some switch hitting or button pressing, such as the SKIP DISC button on your CD player. A new song, something inspiring, can move me to dance, whether with actual physical movement or little internal cartwheels. That's the stuff worth blasting! Wah-hooooooo and "LOL." I could hit the REPEAT ONE button and play the song over a few dozen times. And then I can see what's next. Music is a lot like my love life these days. I have many memories to cherish, much nostalgia glued to the scrapbook of my heart. Some things you just can't forget.* *This entry has been edited to delete three sentences that never should have been written in the first place, in my opinion, at this writing.
